About me

Originally from Mysore (India), Madrid has been home to me since 2005, and Málaga since 2022.

Since completing a degree in Physiotherapy from the Complutense University of Madrid, I have been committed to helping my patients achieve their goals related to recovery from injuries and other pathologies like migraines, chronic headaches, anxiety, etc.

Constantly seeking to better understand how health is maintained and why disease develops, I decided to study at the International School of Osteopathy in Madrid, where I completed a 6 year program in Osteopathy.

Other interests

I am currently pursuing a Degree in Psychology at the National Distance Education University (UNED), with the aim to expand on psychological concepts in the biopsychosocial and cultural approach I use in my practice. I’m sure that education in psychology will be another useful tool when accompanying my patients, especially in relation to persistent pain and pain related to emotional trauma.

In my work I apply my own method, which is nourished by physiotherapy, osteopathy, psychology and my clinical experience, in addition to current evidence in relation to mindfulness, yoga, meditation, breathing techniques, lifestyles, etc.

A person’s habits, lifestyle, and life experiences influence their perception of pain and illness. Knowing them and analyzing their way of dealing with them is essential to improve their ability to manage these processes with resilience.

I work with my patients using an integrative, cooperative, and respect-centered approach, through manual therapy, exercise programs and behavior modification.

Chronic pain

The techniques that I apply are focused on the musculoskeletal system in general, and more specifically on the autonomic nervous system, the viscera, the pelvis, the pelvic floor, and cranial structures such as the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), etc.

Promoting health and well-being

If necessary, I teach my patients relaxation techniques and give them some guidelines to improve habits or strengthen some of those already cultivated that are conducive to wellbeing. Not only does this improve the quality of life of the person, but also helps build their resilience and recovery capacity.

I deeply value open and honest communication, and I encourage this right from the first meeting. This is a method of cooperation and of mutual learning and not one of dictating protocols or obligations.

I am passionate about learning, and over the years I have been fortunate and truly privileged to have consistently done so through my mentors and teachers, collaborations with a variety of exceptional professionals, and in an immeasurable and special way through each and every patient I have worked with.
